Killarney Town at night is a wonderful place - tremendous atmosphere - most stores are open till midnight, and Irish music floats from almost every pub in town.

Killarney is a shoppers paradise! Most shops are open late during the summer months. You may wander in the evenings through the laneways and main streets where you find your choice of  knitwear, linen,   Waterford Glass  and endless treasures by local craftsmen or visit Killarney Outlet Centre at the top of the town.

Killarney hasa earned its title as Ireland’s Gourmet Capital with its abundance of superb world famous restaurants, catering for every taste bud and budget. Kathleen will happily give you recommendations and reserve a table at a restaurant of your choice.

Killarney National Park

Killarney National Park encompasses three large lakes, whole mountain ranges, and Ireland's tallest peak in the Macgillucuddy Reeks. The Park features an ancient monastery, Europe's finest relict yew forest, Ireland's largest oak woods, and the spectacular Muckross House.

Gap of Dunloe and Lakes of Killarney

This is more of an adventure than a tour and advisable to book at check-in.

You are picked up by shuttle bus at Kathleens at 10am and driven via  Aghadoe to Kate Kearney's Cottage. Here you may choose to travel the 7 miles up The Gap of Dunloe hiking/walking or via jaunting car or pony.

The Gap of Dunloe is a famous and most spectacular beautiful  glacial valley surrounded by Ireland’s most dramatic mountain range.

At the top of the Gap you may avail of lunch at Lord Brandon's Cottage. This a 700 year Old Lodge amidst Ireland’s oldest oakwood Derrycunnihy.

After lunch,  the traditional style boat takes you through the three Lakes of Killarney to Ross Castle where the shuttle bus awaits to return you to Kathleens.

This trip has earned the title of the ‘wow’ of Ireland’s scenic highlights.
