Beara Peninsula

Beara Peninsula is a magnificent little peninsula with some outstanding beauty spots in the South West of Ireland.

Depart from Kathleens via N-22 bypassing Killarney Town in the direction of Cork until you see the sign for Kenmare on the right (approximately 8 miles). Follow the road to Kenmare via Kilgarvan, and then continue on through Tousist, Lauragh, Ardgroom, Eyeries, Allihies.

Return along the southern shore of the Peninsula visa Castletownbere, Adrigole, Glengarrrif, Kenmare and back to Killarney via Molls Gap and the National Park.

The Healy Pass is situated between Adrigole and Lauragh. This is spectacular on a clear day.
